Termite Prevention and Control Treatments

 

For most people our homes are our biggest investment and protecting them is extremely important.  Termites do upwards of 5 Billion Dollars in damage per year to structures and with our tropical environment these unwelcome houseguests thrive throughout our state.  Termites will consume anything that contains cellulose which includes wood structures, furniture, cabinetry and even drywall in our homes. Subterranean (underground) termites typically stay well hidden within wall voids to avoid detection and predators (ants). Because of this it can be years before homeowners realize they have an issue and significant damage  has occurred. 

 

We offer both preventative and control treatments for subterranean termites. Our treatments consist of a liquid barrier applied to the soil under the foundation of the home. The products used are non-repellant, so the foraging termites are unaware of the treatment area and freely come into contact with the termiticide which they spread to the colony leading to its collapse.
